What an incredible read. Could not put the book down. The depth and research that went into Bug Man must have been tremendously arduous for the author Peter Karl. Scary what the main character Cyril thoughts and actions were. I have become a devotee of this authors works. Highly recommended!!!

Peter’s descriptive prose takes us on a joy ride throughout Chicago — illuminating the law enforcement and news media landscape and showing in great detail how it responds to a disturbing maniac who creates deadly “bugs.”
One can only pray there are resources in place to protect us from such threats.
After reading Bug Man, you’ll never look at a Salad Bar the same. But do yourself a favor — this is a book you won’t want to put down — a book you’ll want to share with friends.

Bug Man, written by Peter Karl, an investigative reporter, displays the inner workings of the lengths an investigative reporter's mind works to get the story. Where the reporter's skills leave, and the need to figure people out begins and ends, is left to the reader to decide. The mind of the serial killer in Bug Man taunts the police, frightens the City of Chicago, and teases the reader. Engaged and mesmerized, I loved all of the characters. Will good win over evil, will justice prevail, or will the Bug Man outwit them, will keep you reading as it did me.
